Jeannine Morris, Founder
Jeannine Morris formerly wrote in the beauty department of Cosmopolitan, where she developed a passion for the industry. Interviewing experts and learning about new ingredients, trends and women’s needs gave her the insight she needed to make the most of her career. To further her knowledge of the industry, Jeannine represented many mass and prestige beauty brands and spas worldwide by working in public relations and marketing.
Understanding both sides of the industry and becoming intrigued by social media, Jeannine decided to pursue a freelance career in 2009. She now writes for various websites and consults as a social media strategist and marketing professional for multiple brands and public relations firms.
Recognizing the shift in journalism from print to online, she also founded BeautySweetSpot.com, which receives thousands of hits and national press. She writes about runway trends, celebrity secrets, product must-haves and provides tips and tricks from experts. To differentiate BeautySweetSpot from other beauty blogs, she also makes unique comparisons between the beauty industry and dating.
Jeannine has appeared as a beauty and lifestyle expert on E!, CBS, NBC, FOX, and BetterCT. She has also been featured as an expert in several online publications and blogs such as YoungHollywood.com and LockandMane.com.
Originally from New Jersey, Jeannine now resides in New York City and is a graduate of Wagner College where she received her B.A. in English with a minor in journalism. In her free time, she works with Women In Need, a New York based charity that helps provide shelters for homeless families. She also enjoys traveling, NYC brunches, browsing Barneys and spending time with her family and friends.
